Unified Streaming adds new developer to team

AMSTERDAM, July 18, 2025 — Unified Streaming, a leading streaming software company, has hired Tim Rietveld as a developer.
A 2024 graduate of Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam), Rietveld comes to Unified Streaming with a bachelors degree in computer science and an enthusiasm for Rust, a “language empowering everyone to build reliable and efficient software.”
At the company known worldwide for its video streaming technology prowess, the mantra is just that. Build reliable and efficient software.
Unified Streaming carries out this mission with C++, a brisk coding language known for supporting various methods like functional, procedural, and object-oriented programming. Senior developers at Unified will guide Rietveld through the intricacies of the company’s native system for writing source code.
Before jumping on board at Unified, Rietveld spent a year as a junior software developer at Scarabee Aviation Group. Prior to that post, Rietveld worked as a cyber security consultant at Cyber7.
“Already feeling safe navigating this C++ programming stack, ^_^ As the newest member of the ‘Stream Dream Team,’ I’m committed to writing high-quality code that benefits every one of our users," said Rietveld.
“We’re happy to welcome Tim as a new developer at Unified. His energy and enthusiasm for coding fits very well with our culture here, and we are confident that he’ll contribute to our software in new and positive ways,” said Arjen Wagenaar, CTO, Unified Streaming.
