PikoTV, the Istanbul-based designer of high-quality streaming encoders, reports that its tech stack, or headend, is now compatible with Unified Origin from Unified Streaming. This marks a significant step forward in PikoTV’s streaming infrastructure capabilities.‍

Unified Origin, the core software product from Unified Streaming that packages content to all formats for streaming on CTV, STB, iOS, Mac, or PC, integrates seamlessly with PikoTV’s headend system.

The integration with Unified Origin means that PikoTV supports CMAF Interface 1, Smooth Streaming, and Unified workflows, including those for live, VOD, Live2VOD, and VOD2Live, for scalable, operator-grade delivery of video streams worldwide.

Coupling Unified Streaming’s reliable packaging technology with PikoTV’s advanced encoding, transmuxing, and delivery ecosystem, the collaboration enables operators, broadcasters, and OTT platforms to benefit from a more efficient, flexible, and future-proof streaming pipeline.
