Capella is proud to announce its integration with Unified Streaming’s core products Unified Packager and Unified Origin, which help to deliver users’ content to any screen, any place, any time.

Cambria Stream, Capella’s latest product, can now encode various live inputs to CMAF output with SCTE 35 and subtitle support for ingesting to Unified Packager. It also supports syncing multiple encoder outputs based on the timecode of live input streams.

Cambria Stream is a scalable live encoder designed for live streaming workflows. It can ingest a wide range of live inputs, including SRT and Zixi, and encode to multi-bitrate streams. Cambria Stream can work as a standalone live encoder or as a part of a network of multiple encoders managed by Cambria Stream Manager.

The Cambria Stream product line is Kubernetes-based and runs on all the popular clouds, including Akamai Connected Cloud, Google Cloud Platform, and Amazon Web Services.

We can offer a simple and seamless live encoding workflow together with Unified Streaming. Many of our customers are already using Unified Streaming for packaging. Cambria Steam can easily be plugged into existing live workflows, ensuring stable live streaming and opening up new monetization opportunities,” said Ikuyo Yamada, CEO Capella Systems.

We’re very happy to integrate Unified Packager and Unified Origin with Cambria Stream from Capella. Unified Streaming’s products are all about stability and flexibility, and letting customers make the most of their content. With Cambria Stream doing the live encoding and ingesting into our core products, it’s a very good match,” said Dirk Griffioen, co-founder of Unified Streaming.
